「Love All Play」為羽球術語，代表「零比零，比賽開始」，是比賽開始時裁判所發出的指示，以此標題帶出一段關於高中羽球的故事。 主角水嶋亮雖然在國中的羽球隊沒有打出亮眼的成績，但他的潛力引起羽球名門學校「橫濱湊高中」羽球教練海老原仁的興趣，並邀請亮到橫濱湊高中就讀。原本猶豫不決的亮，在姊姊水嶋里佳的鼓勵下，最終決定就讀橫濱湊高中並加入羽球隊，故事就此展開。
