Living with her caring aunt Ammu, she withdraws emotionally and immerses herself in work. Her routine changes when she begins treating Mahesh, a stubborn sixty-year-old Marathi man recovering from a fracture. Initially hostile, Mahesh agrees to therapy after intervention from his son Siddharth, an optimistic widower and devoted father. As sessions progress, Mahesh's vulnerability emerges, and Maya saves his life twice. A quiet bond forms through shared loneliness, while Maya also feels drawn to Siddharth's warmth.
